Program Information
CEO Roundtables are self-directed peer groups of local CEO,s that meet on a monthly basis to discuss business strategies and tactics. Roundtables are cross industry, noncompetitive, and organized by business size. This diversity provides the CEO,s with a wide range of confidential and professional opinions and increases their network of advisors. Additionally, Roundtables provide a venue that encourages CEO’s to learn from their peers.
CEO Roundtables are sponsored by a community effort lead by a group of regional businesses that want to increase the success of local businesses by assisting in the development of world-class CEO’s. In addition to Softec, these sponsors include:

Program Requirements
Each CEO Roundtable provides members with valuable support from their qualified peers. In order to participate in a Roundtable, the following requirements must be met:
- Member must be the CEO, general manager, or final decision maker for an organization
- Must agree to confidentiality of the meetings
- Must attend on a regular basis
- CEO Roundtables are not a marketing event
Softec reviews all applications to ensure that groups do not contain competitors and do represent a wide mix of industries. Once a Roundtable is established, new members interested in joining will require the approval of 100% of the active members within the group.
Start a CEO Roundtable Group
Each Roundtable must have a group leader. The group leader will be responsible for the following:
- Complete the CEO application screening
- Create a start-up plan
- Centralized administration
- Arrange room reservations at approved community locations
- Email notices of meetings
- Provide advisory services to the Roundtable as requested
- Consult contacts for various subjects based on Roundtable requests
- Attend annual meeting of all CEO Roundtables
- CEO Roundtable member size categories:
Members pay an annual administration fee of $300 to cover the cost of the program which is subject to change each year. At their own direction, groups may charge a mutually agreed upon fee to cover expenses or to pay for consultants or speakers for the group. CEO Roundtable groups may decide to use public facilities and the group will be responsible for its own operational expenses. Softec and other sponsors maintain an active roster of specialists in many fields who are available to present to the CEO Roundtables at the request of the members. The program publishes a newsletter for all the groups to assist in table to table networking.
