The Softec Board of Directors is comprised of local individuals who volunteer their time and efforts to ensure the success of the Softec organization. Under the direction of the Board, Softec strives to provide its members with engaging events that focus on important trends in technology. Because Softec believes that the growth of the technology industry on the Central Coast depends on the support of the community, the board also comes together to discuss which local organizations and programs would benefit from its partnership.

In addition to an annual meeting to consider the upcoming year, the Softec Board meets monthly to discuss and plan various agenda items such as:

• Strategic planning
• Networking Event Planning
• Find and Engage High Caliber Speakers
• Tech Community Outreach, Support & Involvement
• Commit support to local technology education

New board member seats become available as existing members step down. When a seat becomes vacant, the board looks to the most involved members of Softec to fill the vacancy.
