Today was a BIG day for Softec and Couto Solutions.  After 2 years of donating time to the project, the Couto Solutions team finally delivered the new Softec Community.  We hope Softec members embrace it and it becomes a useful hub for communicating technology ideas on the Central Coast.  If you have any questions about the new site, feel free to send me a message from my profile page

The site looks awesome.  I strongly encourage everyone to get involved as much as possible.  I'm available here to answer questions in regards to Microsoft development products as well as general coding best practices.

After having taken the reins as the "webmaster" for Softec just a few weeks ago, I have learned an incredible amount about this tool. Thanks Justin for creating it!

As an administrator, I find it very flexible, and powerful, yet, requiring very little attention or maintenance. As a user, I keep finding features! I feel like we should have an egg hunt on the site, just so people are motivated to search around on the site!

I really like seeing that my friends and colleagues are here, and the ability to interact with other central coast techies in this powerful forum!

Thanks Tom,

Building the Softec site was a huge team effort, so I certainly can't take all the credit for it.  Everyone on the Couto Solutions Team is super excited to see the Softec site managed by the Board and we hope it continues to grow and evolve over time.  The site truely is a powerful communications tool rivaling the likes of Twitter and facebook in terms of features and functionality.  We have always felt that once the local community begins to really use the site and understand the power it brings to the efforts of promoting Central Coast Technology, it would take off like a wild fire.  It is going to take some time and some effort, but the end result will be awesome!

I am really glad to see you enjoying your involvement in your new role as Webmaster and I can't wait to see where you and Softec take this online community.

Thanks Tom for all your efforts,

Justin Couto
