San Luis Obispo was listed because it is the largest city in the area. Platinum Edge is offer the course to cover the northern part of the Central Coast. Pismo Beach although a beach side community is still rather small to draw regional attention.

Yes Justin you have the right site. SLO was feature to draw regional awareness in searches for San Luis Obispo in search engines. That attention would not be the same if Pismo Beach were in the title.

Why aren't you using jQuery yet?

In this session, we'll work with the popular javascript library jQuery to create useful and interesting behaviors on a website. You will quickly see, that jQuery helps the web developer do three very important things:

1. Improve the consistency of behavior across all browsers.
2. Add flair to your website (animation, ajax) with very little effort.
3. Simplify common dom manipulation tasks, allowing you to do more with less code.

We'll do advanced dom manipulation, play with some ajax on top of an MVC application, and see some very useful and easy to use plugins created by the internet community.

If you are doing any sort of client side coding in javascript, and have not taken a look at jQuery yet, this session will show you what you have been missing.
