My name is Brian Treese and I am  the director of design and user experience at Couto Solutions a company that specializes in the development of cutting edge, custom social networks. I spend my days collaborating with the rest of the Couto Solutions team to develop the best possible user interface imaginable for whatever it is that we may be developing and then putting it into action.

I consider myself to be a Web Design professional but not an expert. In other words my skills are strong but I'm continually learning new XHTML, CSS, ASP.Net, and JavaScript concepts as well as Adobe PhotoShop/Illustrator design methods amongst other design trends and software programs. In fact, with so much in the industry continually in flux, I'm not sure I will ever consider myself an expert.

I recieved my education from California Polytechnic State University's Graphic Communication Department where I graduated in December 2007 with my Balchelor's Degree in Design Reproduction Technology. This was a great program with not only a great faculty and staff of professionals, but many career path outlets for program gradutes. For me, however, it was Web. I'm a big geek and I always need the latest and greatest tech gadget so this seemed the only possible career outcome for me.

Jumping seemlessly from the textbook to the office, I began designing Websites full-time as the only designer at Couto Solutions directly after graduating. Fast forward a few years and you have me, Brian Treese, with a little more knowledge, a little more industry experice, and a few more design skills.
