Deborah Bayles is a seasoned business professional and futurist who blends extensive experience in technology marketing, education and healthcare. She is an e-business pioneer and has authored two best-selling e-business books, numerous papers and articles, and has been a keynote speaker at conferences in North America, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. She also presented a paper on e-logistics to the United Nations Committee on Trade and Development. Her book, E-Commerce Logistics and Fulfillment: Delivering the Goods, is used as a textbook worldwide, and Extranets: Building the Business-to-Business Web was chosen by Cisco Systems to distribute to 5,500 of its top customers. Both books were published by Prentice-Hall and have received the highest (5 star) ratings on Amazon.com. Deborah also has a lifelong passion for teaching, and has put her teaching credential and Masters degree to good use. She developed the E-Business curriculum at the University of California, Irvine, and created and taught numerous classes there. She has also lectured on e-business at the University of California, San Diego, the University of California, Riverside, and at the Singapore Institute of Management. She developed the E-Commerce Curriculum for the Business Education department of Cuesta College, and is a faculty member.
