Sheri Boscaro is an Audit Manager with Longcrier & Associates, CPAs and leads the Audit and Attestation Services function bringing years of experience from PricewaterhouseCoopers.  Her focus is on financial statement reviews and compilations for a variety of industries with an emphasis on wineries, vineyards, retail establishments, and construction contractors. 

Sheri’s public accounting experience comes from her years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Irvine, CA.  PwC, one of the internationally recognized “Big 4” public accounting firms, is one of the largest accounting firms in the world with over 163,000 employees in 151 countries.  While at PwC, Sheri primarily worked within the Private Company Services practice.  She was selected from thousands of applicants to serve in an innovation and leadership development program sponsored by PwC’s Global Leadership Team.

Sheri also served as Corporate Controller of Cardiogenesis Corporation, a public traded medical device company in Irvine, CA where she was responsible for managing the finance and accounting department.  While at Cardiogenesis Corporation, Sheri managed all aspects of preparing and filing the Securities and Exchange Committee (SEC) filings.  In addition, she managed the implementation and ongoing compliance of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, a 2002 U.S. federal law which enhanced the standards for public companies, their management boards, and accounting firms.

Sheri graduated cumlaude with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Tulane University, New Orleans and obtained a Masters in Professional Accounting with an emphasis in Auditing/Management Control form the University of Texas at Austin.

Sheri has an active CPA license and is authorized by the California Board of Accountancy to perform the full range of accounting services, including signing attest reports on attest engagements.  In addition, Sheri is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Sheri serves as the Treasurer of Softec, is a member of the San Luis Obispo Rotary and was a career mentor through the local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

In her free time, Sheri enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters exploring the gorgeous areas that the Central Coast has to offer.  She enjoys playing the piano, going to the symphony and running.
